See New International Trailer For Transformers: The Last Knight

OK even I can get behind these little nuggets of Transformers goodness

OK even I can get behind these little nuggets of Transformers goodness

So naturally Transformers: The Last Knight is going to be just as nonsensical as all the rest (how do you hide the historical presence of giant, alien robots?), but I can't say I won't be there opening night. Humans and Transformers are at war, Optimus Prime is gone.

Check back with ComicBook.com tomorrow for the full Transformers 5 trailer.

Hoping to redefine what it means to be a hero, the story to be followed in Transformers: The Last Knight has been teased once more in a brand new global trailer for the flick, coming to cinemas across the United Kingdom next month.

With a "writer's room" led by Oscar-winning Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind), the fifth Transformer's film comes three years after Age of Extinction, and Bay has vowed (again) that this will be his final Transformers film. Check out the new trailer below. It appears the film will follow the returning Mark Wahlberg and new to the series Laura Haddock, as they search for the hidden history of the Transformers. Heroes will become villains. Paramount Pictures is releasing Transformers: The Last Knight in theaters on June 21, 2017.

Transformers: The Last Knight, also starring Isabela Moner, Stanley Tucci, John Goodman, John Turturro, Josh Duhamel, Gil Birmingham and Jean Dujardin, arrives in Australia on June 22 and hits the USA on June 23.

It also touches on some of the story, which involves Mark Wahlberg's character meeting up with Oscar-winner Anthony Hopkins to discover why the Transformers keep coming to Earth. Transformers: The Last Knight is due to be released on June 22nd.
