If it's one thing that consumers expect in a flagship smartphone, it's a great camera.

PriceJara claims the OnePlus 5's dual-lens camera is similar to the iPhone 7 Plus' dual-lens camera, but it's unclear if the OnePlus 5's camera will have the same functions as the iPhone 7 Plus.

OnePlus has just announced a new partnership with camera expert and benchmarking site DxOMark to help improve the quality of the camera equipment on the OnePlus 5.

It's thought the OnePlus 5 will have dual cameras on both the front and back of the phone, and a recent retail listing seemed to confirm this, saying there would be a 23-megapixel camera on the back and a 16-megapixel camera on the front. Earlier, Google Pixel got the highest DxOMark score.

OnePlus has formally confirmed the name of its next flagship smartphone, and tipped some exciting camera news too. There was a confusion if the phone would come with a horizontal placement or a vertical one, and this image stands in support for the latter.

Other rumors surrounding the OnePlus 5 suggest it'll run on the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor that the Samsung Galaxy S8 smartphones are now using. Most of the flagship smartphone from various manufacturers always boast how their phone is at the top of the list. The screen size will be of 5.5-inch.

Other than that OnePlus 5 6GB RAM variant is likely to come in two storage options - a 64GB and 128GB built-in flash. The device's battery will be larger than 3,000mAh, though we still don't what unit exactly is OnePlus planning to include in the device. Has not passed also days, as the network leaked a new batch of details regarding OnePlus 5 and some fresh "live" photos of the model.
